hey all this is my ride/daily. you may have seen this post a little differently before, but now the beast is sporting a few new mods.
the car; 1985 nissan Z31 300zx 2+2
features; naturally aspirated 3.0L V6, manual transmission.
mods; 17'' chromes 8)
china Pod
top gun ignition leads
alpine cd/mp3 deck
mtx 6'' splits
jbl 6x9's
mtx mono block amplifier
kenwood 12'' subwoofer
r speed steering wheel
trust gear knob
retrofitted s13 coilovers; right now i only have the rears in, but i will have the fronts in very shortly
pictures;
plans for the car;
not really sure at this stage, tried to sell it before but got no interest.
atm i have a silvia wreck equipped with a SR20DET manual, that just seems too tempting to put in. only thing that has stopped me doing it is the parents, not liking car parts all over the front lawn.
i'd love to dump it with the current coilys, r2000 LSD, slap on some neatly dished rims, tint it, give it a fresh coat of colour, and possibly drop in my dirty sr, but my living/financial arrangments in the nxt 6 months will determine what i decide to do with the car.

nah i chucked the coilys in myself, i was kinda sick of the amount of body roll, and i had read on z31.com that s13 coilys were easiest to stick in. i had a set just sitting there from my silvia wreck, and i just thought wat the heck. they are just tein HA's
im a little embarrassed about the top mounting, cos it's pretty dodgy, but it works. i havent got anypics of it but i'll get that sorted out.

update; due to noisy lifters, and lack of trust for mechanics, im doing a light top end rebuild.
i thought, that if i had to replace lifters, then i may aswell do cams and valve springs.
so im about to order, some JWT billet 266 deg camshafts, JWT heavy duty valve springs, and of course some solid hydraulic lifters.
then after my little holiday in melbourne, im going to slot in a rs200 shimmed/locked diff, fit either a gutted or a pathfinder intake plenum, replace my worn rotors with some drilled and slotted items, replace all my suspension and crossmember bushings, and get a new 2.5 inch exhaust system fitted.
can't wait! _________________ Name; Julian
